More support!

Last Friday a group of co-workers started a Biggest Loser club. We meet on Tuesdays to weigh in, have lunch and exchange tips and support. That’s the best thing that could have happened because we spend a lot of time at work, so the peer support will help a lot. If it’s nice tomorrow I’m gonna get out and walk. My biggest challenge is to get on an exercise schedule but I believe I’ll be able to do it. I was fasting since the 1st of January so last weekend we went out to celebrate. I must admit I went a little crazy but not like before. I don’t want to eat a whole lot of red meat any more. The next time I cook might be fore Valentine’s Day.

My husband and I went shopping together for the first time on Sunday night. It was exciting and we reminded ourselves that it will be a task one day LOL. I avoid going to the store, I’m not too much of a bag lady but I do what I gotta do. I was so happy we’re on the same boat toward weight loss. He looked at the shopping cart and said where he comes from people probably would think we’re gonna starve because there were no cokes, no macaroni & cheese, no pizza or nothing. We got mostly veggies, fish (tilapia and salmon), salads and fruits. He got some cinnamon croissants for himself and he ate most of it. I lost 1 pound in 4 days, not bad at all.
