Coffee & Bagel Diet

Traveling while on diet was a terrible thing for me. I switched from my fad diet to the Coffee & Bagel Diet. Before we got Starbucks in my town I used to eat there several times a day during my business trips. I would eat a bagel with lots of cream cheese, coffee and cream. Now I know that I would have to walk for 80 minutes in order to burn those 400 plus calories. Is it worth it? I hate to tell you but it isn’t. I never found time to exercise during travel either, specially if we were out for a short period of time. All I did was to attend meetings, eat a lot and sleep. I ate a lot in those trips because of being deprived by fad diets and stress.

This time is going to be different. I’ve had the same lifestyle for a year, so certainly my choices will reflect that. I’ve been training myself to stop eating when I’m satisfied. It works but some days are better than others. This is a great habit I can practice while I travel.

Things about me while I travel:
*Don’t like airplane food;
*Don’t like airport food court food;
*Once I get to my destination, I do like to walk because I can see the place better;
*I like to shop where locals shop. I want to find out where they get fruits and veggies!
* I like to walk where the locals walk. I’ll find a local park!
My Goals for the Week:
* Walk 26 miles (I have 20.8 to go);
* Eat well; focus on protein and dairy intake;
* Sleep at least 7 hours;
* Manage stress in healthy ways;
* Treat myself (get my hair trimmed);
