Psalm 103
1 "Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s."

I hardly ever blog on Thanksgiving day but today I wanted to take the time to do this while is quiet in the house (LOL). I bless the Lord today for all His benefits and for who He is. Without God there's no reason for thanksgiving or receiving.
I thank God for family, friends and even for those who made my life challenging this year. Challenges come to develop inner strength and reliance on God and His love.
I thank God for provision. He provided for us day after day, month after month, challenge after challenge. Having our basement filled with water in the beginning of the year caused us to depend on God for guidance, which He gave to us. Glory be to God for His care for us.
I thank God for health. When you are sick you remember how good it is to walk in health. I thank God for healing me and for teaching me how to walk in health day after day.
This year I'm specially thankful for this growing baby inside of me. Next year the baby will be at the table with us and we'll give thanks to God for him or her again.
I thank God for you. I met a lot of new friends through this blog. You are part of my life so I am thankful for you.
I pray that you enjoy the day and don't freak about about your weight. Afterall, this is Thanksgiving Day, not DietFreaking day. I've been nuts about my weight during holidays before and I can witness, it's not worth it because it takes even a little of your attention to the things that are really important, the things that will last forever.
Happy, happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Simply Cintia
