27 Weeks: Goodbye Second Tri

“My son, keep your father's commands and do not forsake your mother's teaching. Bind them upon your heart forever; fasten them around your neck. When you walk, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; when you awake, they will speak to you."
Proverbs 6:20-22

I’m reading the Bible with different eyes. I read Proverbs to my son but it blessed me first and foremost. If breastmilk is the complete food babies need, the Word of God is the complete food Christian needs for life.
Getting the word of God is easier than ever nowadays. Compared to the time when Abraham had nothing but God Himself, we have the book in many different types of media. For people who work all the time, there’s the audio Bible. You can do whatever else and listen to the Word. I think different media makes it easier to get encouragement daily, no matter what type of life you live.

So, today I’m 27 weeks. I can definitely feel the changes as my son grows and I get ready to give birth. The child birth education classes have been oh so helpful. We’re almost done with those, I’ve learned a lot, just have to keep practicing the exercises. Thank God we are healthy and we’re enjoying seeing the doctor weekly. It’s great to ask them questions and get feedback weekly. Before I got pregnant I thought this would be annoying but those people are really trying to be sure you have a healthy birth. I used to look at it as an infringement on my schedule but that was before I got pregnant and conscious LOL.

I got Zeke’s V-day gift on the mail, that was great. I went to Wal-Mart a while ago and got the card. I didn’t look for a card for hours. It seems like the more options I have, the less time I spend looking. I found something sweet and I think he’ll like it too. We got our plans finalized yesterday, it will be so enjoyable! We have different approaches to holidays and dates but we do a great job in meeting in between.

My father just finished a Sabbatical in China and South Korea. I was so excited to know about his travels. I feel that I will have a chance to see those places as well. May God continue to bless my family! Oh, my mom found all kinds of hospital info of me when I was a baby. I was the biggest among 5 siblings with 8 pounds and 3 ounces. I was born at 4 a.m. For 29 years I thought it was 3 a.m. I'm looking forward to comparing this and my husband's info with my son's birth measurements.

I have a lot going on this weekend, specially today. I’m still watching my energy level and working on getting chores done. God’s been good, He’s given me Zeke. He helps me so much and I’m satisfied.

Well, enjoy your weekend!!!
