Oh Drama

There's enough drama that happened in this world that we don't need to wait for Desperate House Wives and wonder how things are going to end. I was reading Numbers 13 and 14 this morning. Talk about drama! I love the word of God. The good thing is that the word is real, alive and it teaches us real lessons on how to live our lives to the fullest.
I'm studying Caleb's life and attitude during that time til he got ready to possess his land. This is what he said:
"Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”" Numbers 13:30 (NKJV)
Caleb was the minority among complainers but he was still able to show great faith in God and determination to grab a hold of the promise land.
I pray that you and I can do the same. Have determination to stay focused on what God promised, no matter if we are the minority among many complainers.

It's still carnival in Brasil. My family is traveling, friends are getting awesome tans on the beach... I haven't done anything like it in 11 years, can you believe it?

I have graduated to new cereals, here they are. I go to high end, organic grocery stores to look at prices. The cereals I've been eating for the past few months cost around 5 bucks there but Zeke and I pay around $1!!! If cereal is on sale, we pay even less. Isn't that awesome?

I'm preparing myself to get out of the pregnancy state of mind and get into another gear when it comes to my eating habits. I took a casual look on my food diary (I'm intense) just to remember how in the world I lost close to 40 pounds. For now I'm making sure I get enough veggies, fruit, etc.
Just so you know what I ate this a.m.
1/2 cup of muesli
1/2 cup of south beach cereal
1 cup of fat free milk
1/2 teaspoon of honey
1 cup of grapefruit juice with 1 teaspoon of flax seed :)
I'm having leftovers for lunch. I have yogurt (with sugar. the light yogurts don't taste good lately) and banana for a snack and because I'll be out late, I'll take a turkey sandwich to work as well.
Most people think you should eat buckets of ice cream or weird foods just because you're pregnant. My approach has been: eat wholesome foods, allow a little 'fun' every now and then and keep exercising. Please do.
