Abundant Time in Womanhood

After so much planning the baby shower came and went! It was so sweet and memorable tough! My husband and I decided to do a couple’s shower. There were a lot of other guys there, it wasn’t weird cause it wasn’t your typical everything is girly baby shower. It was a get together to thank God for all He’s done and will do as well as fellowship and eat great food. I should have children more often LOL – trust me, this is just the beginning.

I’m still thankful people. God is faithful and ‘I’m standing on the promises of God’ (if you’ve been in some denominational church you know this hymn). When I get weary, all I have to do is to encourage myself in the Lord. God is faithful to finish the word He has started in my life!

I read commanding your morning last week and I believe there is such thing as commanding your pregnancy. At least it worked for me. I believed God for a healthy pregnancy and He really blessed me in that way. I kept confessing the word of God over my life and the life of my son and for those things that are still to come, I stand on the promises of God, I believe and I will receive my victory.

I have been definitely thinking about writing about my pregnancy. Then I think I should wait til the second pregnancy – which I’ve decided it’s gonna be even better. I don’t think there is the need of more books telling you about the worse side effects you might go through. I don’t think we need another book about what’s happening inside of the womb right now. I am interested in writing about how to keep your mind at ease in the middle of hormonal changes and life transitions. What do you do if you are by yourself? What do you do if your husband is the only family you have? What if you are 15 years old? There is hope for everyone out there, His name is Jesus and He has some practical things we all can do in order to fully enjoy this abundant time of womanhood. At least that’s what I’ve experienced so far. Motherhood is closer than I’ve ever knew. I’ve experienced things I never thought I would – a living being moving inside of me, seeing and hearing his heart beat, feeling hiccups, etc. I dare to believe life is gonna get even better. If God is for me, who can be against me?
