I remember the first time you walked into my life. I was unaware that the amazing young man who was the guest musician in my college music series was going to be the love of my life. I remember looking into the sky and knowing there was something special about that night, which was you.
I remember the day I officially met you. I remember feeling that love was right around the corner and so were you, playing for Gospel Choir auditions. I could not wait to interview you for my magazine article. I thought we'd be good friends but I didn't know the years ahead would be filled with adventures and growing experiences, all sprinkled with good humor.
I remember the day you asked me to marry you. I was overjoyed just to be part of your life! To know that you didn't see your life without me changed my destiny.
7 years have brought a lot of growth in us both. We have built a new life together with 3 kids and new state we are calling home. Today I am thankful for you are the greatest gift I have in this life. I am also thankful for the people who have come along guiding, counseling and leading us in the way of a healthy Christian marriage. My desire is to be nothing but the best wife to you. I want to love you well and I commit to never stop learning how to do that. Thank you for the amazing love you have towards me: you are patient, kind, you do not envy, you do not boast, you are not proud. You are not rude, you are not self-seeking, you are not easily angered and you do not keep records of wrong. You do not delight in evil but you rejoice with the truth. You always protect me, you always trust me, you always hope and persevere. God meant for us to be together and I believe our love will never fail because is rooted and grounded in Christ. Happy 7th year anniversary Zeke. You are the love of my life and I am thankful for our marriage.
