My Weight Loss in 60 Seconds: Cheat Week Fix

Hope you enjoyed the video! In other news: I am focusing on training for my first Texas race. I have 18 days to go and as far as I can tell, I believe will be ready to cross the finish line. I haven't subscribed for any formal type of training. I am trying to maintain a running base and now I am increasing by 1 mile per week til I reach 6.2 on race day. Last weekend I ran in my neighborhood and found a beautiful park. I also turned quickly around when I saw two stray dogs but they didn't bother me at all.
I have been also lifting weights as I prepare for race day. It took me a long time to get started on weight training but I finally picked up the habit. I  still need to improve on my abdominal training. Ab work is my least favorite form of exercise but much needed training as I increase my running distance. I heard that we get a medal and a t-shirt when we finish this race. I will be proudly wearing both. Probably for a whole week (not!). I will wear it for a while tough :)
I pray that you have a healthy and stress-free week! Take the first small step towards your goal today.

Disclaimer: This journey is a process, not an event. Weight loss is not my full-time job. I'm a wife and mother first. Still, I am working on being a healthier wife and mother. In this journey I make many mistakes and learn from them. I am humbled by God's grace which empowers me to succeed. My hope is that you find encouragement to take small steps towards being a healthier you. There's only One who's perfect so I pressed towards the calling I have in God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
