Who are you going to be?

Thursday, September 4, 2014

I've been often confronted with the question: "What are you going to do?" I have decided to internalize it as "Who are you going to be?"
God didn't create human doings but He did create human beings. As a Christian, I believe that "in Him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28). In the midst of life's circumstances, God encourages to "Be still and know that He is God" (Psalm 46:10). I don't think God wants us to become complacent but He does want our beings to take on an attitude of faith. He will be exalted in the earth.
My encouragement for us today is to decide that we will be on God's side. We will be still and see His salvation and deliverance.
