Inspired by my last MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meeting, here are Cintia's 7 Favorite Things

1 • Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner - You can use it as a conditioner but if you wait 15 minutes to wash it off it replenishes moisture like nothing else. I love this thing! I buy it at Walmart but most beauty places should have it. They also sell it in small pouches if you want to try it out. I use it once a week for deep conditioning.

2 • Argain Oil Sulfate-free Shampoo - I recently learned that sulfate is not good for my hair. This brand is very gentle and it keeps the moisture very well. I wash my hair often because of all the sweating from exercise, so this shampoo really works for me.

3 • Argan Oil - it smells great and I use on a regular basis. I used to put it on my hair before I straightened it with a flat iron. Now I put it on before I comb it.

Favorite book and Chia Seeds soaked in juice.

4 • The Best Yes - this book really changed my life this year. If you feel like you can use a do over, read this book. It's a quick read and really encouraging.
5 • Larabar - This is a fruit and nut bar which is minimally processed. It makes a great snack and I've been experimenting with it off season as long run fuel. So far it has worked!

6 • Give-Save-Spend Banks - My brother gave me this and it has been great. The kids enjoy putting money here and spending money from it as well. I realize that it will take years to teach the children to be financially savvy, so this is one of the things we can do on a regular basis to reach that goal.

7 • Chia Seeds - Chia seeds have a lot of health benefits. I soak it in water and drink 1 tablespoon before my runs. If I forget, I mix it in my oatmeal. If I forget, I soak it in cranberry juice. It doesn't taste like chocolate cake (it actually doesn't have a strong taste to me) but it is GREAT for my health.
