The Pearls

• Thank you JESUS, I have reached the full-term status! I prayed and He answered. God is faithful.

• I feel like a brand new woman, lots of energy! My house has never been cleaner and more organized. 

The Poop 

• Things don't stay clean. It seems the more you do, the more you have to do. That's life, not poop right?

• I know I'll miss being pregnant. Don't want to be so ready to cross the finish line that I forget about treasuring this baby moving in my womb. There's no feeling like it (except when they move in the middle of a contraction, ouch!) and I'm thankful.

The Surprise Visit

I went to my second NST (non-stress test) and although LB (or Z girl) was well, she didn't perform up to the doctor's expectations. I was sent to the hospital for further observation the day after. I asked them to please send me in the afternoon because number one, my husband would be in town to watch our son and number two, I had a photo wedding gig that morning. 

When I finally made it to the room after checking in the ER (slow afternoon, thank God) I felt like I was in a hotel. Second, I had so many memories of those delivery rooms! Would that be that night? I didn't know. 

The nurse assumed I was happy to be there. I told her I was :) I just sat there for a little under 30 minutes. I drank juice (going for cranapple now), watched TV, surfed the net (are you following me on twitter? I had photos of the room) and they let me go home. Last time with the Little Prince, it took me 2 trips to the hospital before the real thing happened. I wonder how many trips will it take this time.

O Legal 

• Obrigada Jesus, cheguei a semana 37, o que quer dizer que a bebê está prontinha pra nascer, o desenvolvimento está completo e não tem risco de ser prematura. Deus é bom. Oramos, acreditamos e Deus nos atendeu.

• Estou tendo muita energia! A casa nunca esteve mais limpa e organizada. 

O Chato 

• As coisas não ficam limpas pra sempre. Quanto mais você limpa, mais você tem o que limpar. É a vida né?

• Sei que vou sentir saudades de estar grávida. Não quero ficar com tanta pressa que esqueço desse sentimento maravilhoso do bebê se movendo (ao menos que ela esteja se movendo no meio de uma contração. Ai!). Não há sentimento igual. Estou agradecida a Deus por esse privilégio.

A Visita Surpresa 

Depois da segunda vez que fui pro meu non-stress test (teste onde se medem as batidas do coração e as contrações) me mandaram ir pro hospital pra observação. Iam me mandar de manhã mas pedi que não porque tinha que tirar fotos de um casamento. Fui a tarde, o que foi bom porque meu marido estava de volta de uma viagem e tomou conta do meu filho. 

A enfermeira me disse, 'você parece estar feliz de estar aqui'. Eu disse que sim :) Também, a maior moleza, você senta num quarto com o ar condicionado ligado por uns 30 minutos, tomei suco (pra neném mecher), assisti tv, fiquei na net... Também tive muitas memórias do ano passado com o meu primeiro bebê. Se você estiver me seguindo no Twitter deve ter até visto fotos do quarto. Da última vez com o Pequeno Príncipe tive duas viagems como essa antes de ir de vez mesmo pra ter neném. Vamos ver como vai ser dessa vez.
