Weight Watchers Wednesday

Disclaimer: This journey is a process, not an event. Weight loss is not my full-time job. I'm a wife and mother first. Still, I am working on being a healthier wife and mother. In this journey I make many mistakes and learn from them. I am humbled by God's grace which empowers me to succeed. My hope is that you find encouragement to take small steps towards being a healthier you. There's only One who's perfect so I pressed towards the calling I have in God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

How do you compare WW with the diet you followed just before your first pregnancy? Do you feel at this time the weight is coming off faster? - You don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable though.

@Riema thanks for noticing girl, I totally forgot to switch it back!
@Lugree eu escrevo em português de vez em quando, hoje mesmo vai estar tudo em português, fique ligada :)
@LisAnaHD it wasn't really a diet, it was following the food pyramid guides. There were more control of how many calories you ate and very clear guidelines on where they should be spent. The weight is coming off at the same speed, not that much of a change. Calories in calories out, right? Good question. What about you, how long have you been maintaining your healthy weight?

Maintaining my healthy weight? Are you kidding me? LOL... As a WW lifetime member I'm 22 pounds above what WW defines as healthy weight... and let's face it - the program is very generous with the scale.

Yesterday I started practicing the first of the 13 Ben Franklin's virtues, that is TEMPERANCE - Eat Not to Dulness, Drink not to Elevation (drinking has never been an issue with me). I will be on track for 2 weeks hoping TEMPERANCE becomes part of my life style i.e. character... as Franklin himself did to develop and acquire all the 13 virtues. This morning the scale pointed 170.5 pounds... yesterday it pointed 174.5 pounds... and yes, it's an accurate scale.
