Almost Full-Term

I had a blessed weekend. I was off a few days, had to work on Saturday and Sunday was Easter. Last year we cooked. This year we just decided to go out, which was nice.

Saturday I took photos of a 5&8K race in town. It reminded me of how much I enjoy running and how I can’t wait to go back. I saw parents running with their jogger strollers, the baby was totally fine with it. I still haven’t bought one but I intend to do that asap. I also talked to a very inspiring lady who lost 60 pounds and uses running to keep the weight off. She has two children and didn’t start running until way after they were born. She’s a humble, inspiring woman who really encouraged me to keep running and get back to it as I can.

I’m 36 weeks, my baby will be full-term (37 weeks) on Friday. I can say that so far I’m not tired of being pregnant. During these past couple of weeks I’ve learned and appreciated the importance of rest (physical and mental). I am preparing myself to really follow doctor’s orders and REST for 6 weeks so that my body can recover and start all over. I pray that I will be wise to rest a lot before my own labor day.

Last year we took some awesome trips. I can’t wait to see where we get to go this year. I miss going to the beach but there are so many other places to see. Let’s see what the Lord has prepared for us. This is me in Paris :)

Here are two verses from Romans:

"The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming” Romans 10:8

"Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." Romans 10:11

That’s what I’m living by: trust in God and confessing the word of faith. Have a great week everyone!
