1. I don’t have to teach you how to win. All I have to teach you is how to face rejection without giving up on winning. The word “no” is not a prognosis of fatality. “No” doesn’t define me, for losing is a part of winning. You learn what not to do by failing on your way up. I learn much about winning by losing.

2. What the caterpillar calls the end, the rest of the world calls a butterfly. Perspective is everything.

3. A quick “no” is better than the painful wait time for an answer. Clarity is kindness and it requires gratitude.

4. I feel my feelings when rejected. I also bounce back to the level of the mental toughness system I developed. I know I’m not forgotten or forsaken. God loves me and directs me to His perfect will, even when I hear a “no.”

5. For the first time, I’ve been able to greet rejection and let it go pass me. Rejection is temporary. I don’t have to set the table and have a meal in honor of it. I treat rejection as a passer by for it doesn’t come to stay.

6. Rejection can hurt deeply. Jesus is not only a healer but He can restore all that was broken. Christian counseling is helpful a tool. When you’re ready to be healed, healing has already been provided.

7. I’m gonna face more rejection in life. I’ll hear other people tell me “no.” I rest assured that with each interaction I can grow, mature and remember who I truly am. I am accepted in the Beloved.
