Weekend Perfect


I lost 2.6 lbs! That was a blessing on top of a blessed, delightful weekend. I was gifted with a couple of hours by myself so I took an uninterrupted nap (yeah for daddy), got my pedicure done, manicure and hair. At the end of the day my wonderful husband gave me a beautiful flower bouquet. 
Glory be to God, weight loss did happen last week. My goal is to lose 8 lbs by December 7th so we're right on track. My goals are similar for this week but I want to push myself to walk more miles, eat less caramel (I had a little something every day last week) and drink more water. I've been thinking about returning to my food diary and I will do that this week. Research has proven that those who keep a count of what goes on their mouth lose more and keep the loss for longer. 
Another thing I did last weekend was to dive into British drama. I've been watching 'Bramwell' and even my husband likes it. Our public library has all the seasons, so I'm really excited about getting it for FREE. 
Christmas season has started around here. I wrapped my husband's first gift today (it arrived in the mail). I know he'll like it. 
Weight loss will be challenging as always because we started our lifestyle change right before my husband's 30th birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and my 30th birthday. I think it's possible to have a good season. Even if I can't lose great amounts of pounds I can take one day at the time, keep exercising and at least keep the weight I lost. I'll write more about that later.
