Oi! So escrevendo pra dar um alozinho.

Good day! I hope you are doing well today. I'm HUNGRY! I've been busy today I didn't have time to stop and eat. Nope, that won't be a habit of mine, just a busy day. Today I want to talk about the "between" times. The time between the day you decide to start better eating habits (not a diet. Ugly word.) and the time you reach your goal. There's something constant in the between time: change. How do you deal with change?
If you are anything like me, you have problems with change. The reason is, I'm a planner (I learned this terminology last Saturday LOL). I admire people who plan their days, their meetings, their lives. I admire people who plan their financial lives. I admire people who are organized with their plans. I admire wedding planners. I recently found out why: weddings (and other events) are about planning. I tell you, I watched Whose wedding is it anyway and A Wedding story often. Now I know the reason why. True enough, I like to eat wedding cake (I consider myself an expert on that. I KNOW good cake. Really.) but the planners are what fascinate me. Some take planning to the level of an art. How I like that! Okay, going back to change, you can't plan for change. You can prepare a plan B though. Being totally unprepared and desperate is what you do NOT want to do. Are you stranded in a trip longer than you wanted? Keep cereal bars in the car. A stressful situation came up? Read the Bible, pray, go for a 10 minute walk. Do you have to eat out unexpectedly? Think about what you need, what appeals to you and plan on how much you'll eat before taking the first bite.
Dealing with change is not easy. Dealing with desperation is real hard. Manage your emotions by seeking guidance from God. He doesn't want us to turn to food when different situations happen, He wants us to turn to Him and He will direct our path.
