It's Monday! Nope, we didn't start a new diet today (what an ungly word!). I started making better choices for myself. I walked from the house to the park, which gave me 61 minutes of exercise. I love walking. I'm in better shape than I was a month ago. It's amazing how your body responds to good, healthy choices. I feel I should diversify my exercise regime. For a month I've been walking only (which I enjoy). For the next couple of months I want to train to run a 5K in the fall. That's a great challenge for me. I was planning on walking them but I believe I will do better by training, hiking and then running for the first time in a couple of months. The graphic today represents a challenge my friend Lu Francesa is launching. In order to praticipate you have to drink 2 liters of water per day, 1 liter of green tea and exercise for 40 minutes 5 times a week. I thought that would be an extra boost to my daily lifestyle.
