I had a great holiday! The best one I’ve ever had so far. It turned out that we didn’t travel so we stayed at home. I rested, watched Good Morning America, drank tea, read books, watched old and new movies and enjoyed the great, awesome company of my husband. I got new highlights (yes!), went out for a date with my husband, went out for walks, stopped by a friend’s home and caught up with their news…
Thanksgiving day was great. I went out for a walk and saw a lady who used to be in my weight management class. I thought, we’re using the same principle here. The dinner atmosphere was stress free, it was peaceful, accepting, just great! I ate a balanced meal, I don’t feel like I went over my limit. It wasn’t easy. It took a lot of preparation and with God’s help we’re through! Now we need to start preparing for Christmas holiday. I’m looking forward to it.
What I learned from the Thanksgiving prep season? Great preparation is great. Knowledge definitely is power. I also learn not to underestimate my own potential. I learned to look back and see that all the things I’m doing are definitely working for my good.
Just wanted to give you an update today.
Blessings!
PS: I signed up for another challenge. I think that will be helpful and yet another motivation.
