Looking Back

37 weeks pregnant, April 2009

2009 is quickly coming to an end and I'm part of a small group of people who thought it was a good year. As I look in retrospect I expect to find many more reasons to be thankful to God for a wonderful year. 

The Birth two weeks later

* Most of the goodness of 2009 revolves around the fact that we had our first and oh so loved son. It was a life changing experience that has its challenges but which blessing does not? 

* I also realized that I was/am pregnant for 7 months of this year and not pregnant/giving birth for 4 months. 

* I was working full-time for an actual company for 4 months and the rest of the time I feel like I've been working much more but in a different function. 

* 2009 was the year I launched my photography business officially so that was another great accomplishment. 

* I ran my second 5K race in September. It was a great thing because during my first 5K I was 10 weeks pregnant so having the Little Prince there was a cool thing.

* My husband and I completed 3 years of marriage. The more I know him, the more I love him. I can't tell you how loved I feel. What a great year to spend with the one I love. 

* We bought our first Mini van. I fought it but now I thank God for it, especially with a new baby on the way. I already know how many kids we can fit there comfortably. 


This season I thank God for family and friends. We were truly blessed this year and I look forward to being a blessing next year.
