We had a lovely time as a family yesterday which started with food. I learned that if you walk into a restaurant uninformed of your choices, it's challenging to make a good one. I'm sure things will get easier as time goes by but for now I have to plan-plan-plan.
I ordered first, saving as many points as I could. I ended up using 3 points total. I turn around and see this pretty cupcake. Are you serious?! He also ordered some kind of sandwich with chips and there I am, eating soup!
After the hunger was gone I was proud of my choice. To make things better he tells me 'the cupcake wasn't that good.' I smiled.
Are you serious!? A cupcake? |
My choice: chicken noodle soup and a non-fat latté |
Good choice. It can be so hard to be healthy when those around you are not!
My husband is trying to follow the WW principles too but he allows himself to have a treat here and there. he's got more points than i do, which explains the cupcake :)
