No Time for Devotional? God is Just a Tweet Away

Today I will be Tweeting with God. When I wrote my eBook, my life was intensely filled with the joy of having two kids under 2 years of age. Today the demands of moving to a new state while adapting to this new life have left me with no time for what I call a "decent devotional time."
Last night as I went to an awesome ladies Bible study, I heard the leader emphasize that we need to spend time with God first thing in the morning. I agree. The problem is that when you are in a busy season of life (insert small kids, job, caring for elderly parents, etc here) you just get up and get going. I totally agree that spending time with God first thing in the morning is awesome and brings great benefits. The fact is that when you've been up every two hours feeding, the last thing you think about is devotional when you wake up. I actually wake thinking that I need more sleep.
I know that God doesn't want me to feel guilty because I didn't spend time with Him when I got up late this morning and my kids couldn't wait til my devotional was over so they could eat. I believe that God knows where I am and loves me as much as He loves the women that are in a season of life where they can spend significant time in their prayer closet
My solution for busy days like today is to remember that "God is just a tweet away." Be encouraged my friend!
