I love a great success story. I am especially interested in the biographies of people who achieved the impossible. The other day I was looking for quotes about achieving the impossible and I found a good one:
Then I thought about the most powerful writing I know on the subject and it comes from Jesus Himself:
“With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27
Jesus reminds me to get the correct perspective about impossible situations. Men (and women!) will laugh at you, they will discourage you and of course they will make fun of what you are trying to do. God, who knows the end from the beginning, is encouraging you to press on with Him. Jesus said that with God all things are possible.
It's not wise to get affirmation from people when trying to do the impossible. You may have to stop talking about it too much with people who are not looking at your situation from God's perspective. Get all the affirmation you need from a God who loves and believes in you. I believe God will send encouragers your way tough they may be few.
I have experienced God making all things possible for me in the past and I believe that He can still do it today. God healed me from pneumonia when I was 6 months old waiting to get in the operation table. My mother actually saw the angel of God encamping around us and delivering us (Psalm 34:7-9). I have experienced God making all things possible in other areas of my life as well and I know that God is no respecter of persons, which means that He has no favorites. He can do the same thing for you my friend.
My challenge for you and I is that we start seeing our situations from God's perspective. For with God all things are possible!
