Musings

Every month I teach a new hymn to my students. By the end of the year they will know 9 hymns of the church. I'm amazed at how small steps add up: the magic key is consistency.

I've been trying to be consistent in many areas of my life. I don't want my life to be lie, so I keep persisting, pressing on towards the call of God in my life. Most days it does not look fancy: wash dishes, laundry, clean toilets, put the black beans in the pressure cooker.

I am a believer that out of the ordinary, the extraordinary comes. I pray that the simplicity of life (beans, clean toilets and dishes) will provide an extraordinary existence to those who closely depend on me.
