I'm so thankful that God chose simple shepherds to hear the greatest birth announcement ever. Shepherds were not the aristocratic, pompous class in first century Israel. They were unclean, simple people doing a much-needed job.
God was made flesh and He came to save all of us. I hope you accept God's gift.
