12 Days of Christmas Devos

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:13-14 (NKJV)

I recently learned that one of the questions about this verse is, "did they SAY or did they SING?" I honestly do not know. I can't tell and I bet that there isn't anyone alive who can give us an eyewitness account.

The important thing is what was said (or sang?). It points us up to God, who receives glory. Down to earth, where peace is needed and among men (and women) where goodwill is needed. That's a great thing to say year round.
