How to enjoy the Fall

Hey friend, when are busy like I am yet, you desire to enjoy the Fall to the fullest you do a few things.

First, you decorate. Well, just a little bit. I admire the homes with at least 30 pumpkins on the front porch. I quickly remember someone needs to clean those puppies up when they start to rot. Ew. No thank you.

I decided to stick with the old decor from year's past. I did buy a few fake pumpkins. The kids, like me, were a bit overwhelmed with all the choices out there but we settled with what works for us.

Fall is not only about being decked out with decorations. It is about the smell of pumpkin candles burning. It is about the taste of pumpkin muffins and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.

We love the Fall because we finally get to eat chili unapologetically. We apologized quite a bit in the summer. We love chilli and all the fixings.  We can finally enjoy it when it's colder outside.

We love the holidays Fall brings. My husband's birthday is in the Fall. Being thankful to God for life and family while having big parties is the best.

I know there's a lot going on. I can't begin to tell you how busy I am. I can also say that God created the Fall for us. We get to enjoy it. We also need to slow down and take in the sights, sounds and all the sensory joy it brings.

Celebrate the Fall however you want to as long as you do.
