Sunday Seven

Today is my husband’s birthday. Here’s what I want him to know:
1. “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,” Col. 1:3‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

2. “... walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;” Col. ‭1:10‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

3. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Col.‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

4. “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Col.‬ ‭2:6-7‬

5. “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” ‭‭Col.‬ ‭3:2‬

6. “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Col. 3:23-24‬ ‭

 7. “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” Col.‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)
