Back to WW: Last week's wins

Whether I lose or gain weight, I try to reflect on my week. I gained 1.3 lbs last week. I decided to think about last week. Here is what I observed:

• I went to CrossFit quite a bit. I love lifting weights. I was able to attend two classes.

• I ran three times last week. One of those runs was a 10-mile long run on Saturday.

• I made good food choices most of the time. I prioritized salmon and greens when eating out. I made a protein and oatmeal waffle on Saturday. I need to batch cook those because I enjoy them so much.

• A few of my family members were recovering from ear infections and seasonal things of that nature. I was blessed to be able to take care of everyone. One of my reasons for gratitude is the health to live the life God is calling me to live. Hallelujah.

• I baked quite a bit and sent baked goods to the kids' school and my husband's job.

• I finished my Christmas shopping.

• I simplified a few seasonal things I wanted to do. It took all I had but I am sticking with "simplifying" my life.

• I went to the store and bought all we needed for the week.

I could go on. I realized that even with the gain, I'm at my lowest weight of the year. I'm also more fit than ever. I ran half marathons before but my strength game has completely improved in the past 3 years. I'm grateful.

I won the "spirit" award during my CrossFit's Christmas party. I was so surprised and grateful. I've been calling it the "Holy Spirit" Award. LOL. I love my CrossFit crew so much. They really help me be better every day.

Next week is my last weigh-in of the year and the last one of the holiday season. The first weigh-in of the year will be on my birthday. My goal is to execute the holiday plan and to see awesome results.

Starting weight: 175 lbs
This week's weight: 155.8 lbs (-19.2)

First Goal: 153.4 lbs (-2.4)

Second Goal: 146 lbs (-9.8)
Final Goal: 136 lbs (-19.8)
