God's Purpose when I don't Understand

"May He grant you according to your heart's desire,
and fulfill all your purpose."
Psalm 20:4 (NKJV)

The first thing I smell in the morning is coffee (if I don't make a pit stop at the kids room that is. Ha!). I program the coffee maker to go off before I get up so that smell will encourage me to get downstairs and enjoy a great cup of dark coffee with a splash of almond milk. The purpose of programming that coffee maker ahead of time is to aid with my getting ready for my day. That thing fulfills its purpose daily (hallelu!). I'm especially thankful during the mornings I'm a bit tired but I still need to honor my responsibilities and appointments.

It's not difficult to point out the purpose of things around us. We sometimes get stuck when it comes to our own purpose. If you happen to be going through a difficult circumstance in life, it may be even more difficult to understand purpose. Good thing we serve a God who Created us with a purpose and who knows the purpose of every situation and circumstance we go through.

God is purposeful. I know Him not to let us go through things in vain. He has a purpose for us and for every situation we face this week. God will fulfill His wonderful purpose towards you and I, we can be sure of that. The purpose is good because God is good and everything He does is good.

You may not really understand the hows and whys of a challenging circumstance in your life right now. I do hope you know and have great assurance that the God loved you first has a purpose for all of this and it will be good and it will be fulfilled.
