I'm feeling really good about life and my fitness. My youngest is almost 3 months and I am already back at training. I learned yesterday while I cleaned (I listen to Podcasts a whole lot) that I need to build a good running base before I start training for a half or full marathon. My ultimate goal is to run and finish the Chicago Marathon. My short term goal is to build my running base, which means running between 3-5 miles 3 times a week. In between building my running base and finishing Chicago, there are many competitions and a whole lot more training. My first 5K is in 37 days. Here's the highlight of my "Fit Week."

Disclaimer: This journey is a process, not an event. Weight loss is not my full-time job. I'm a wife and mother first. Still, I am working on being a healthier wife and mother. In this journey I make many mistakes and learn from them. I am humbled by God's grace which empowers me to succeed. My hope is that you find encouragement to take small steps towards being a healthier you. There's only One who's perfect so I pressed towards the calling I have in God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
