My Weight Loss in 60 Seconds: Goals

Monday, September 17, 2012

On week 4 I realized I really needed to define my goals instead of keeping old ones. Here's this week's video:

Disclaimer: This journey is a process, not an event. Weight loss is not my full-time job. I'm a wife and mother first. Still, I am working on being a healthier wife and mother. In this journey I make many mistakes and learn from them. I am humbled by God's grace which empowers me to succeed. My hope is that you find encouragement to take small steps towards being a healthier you. There's only One who's perfect so I pressed towards the calling I have in God. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I've been thinking about the same thing regarding my health & weight goals. So what are your short-term goals? I've yet to set those. I just know I hate every shirt in my closet because of my stomach.

Short term: exercise 4 times a week for at least 45 minutes each time. Eat well opposed to snack all day. Drink at least 64 oz of water per day. I also need to come up with some non-food reward system.
Long term would be the total amount of lbs I want to lose, the marathon, etc.
