I gained a bit of weight this week. I feel 'neutral' about it. Neutral because feeling negative will backfire for sure. Neutral because I have learned from the past week and I am moving on.
I bought a new scale. I thought, a cheap one will do. The goal is to see the needle going down.
Now that we are settling in our new home, I'm back at my good habits. I am exercising and I am tracking my food. The funny thing about moving is that life doesn't give you a holiday to celebrate. Life goes on and we move on with it.
Last weekend I decided to prepare for the week by buying fruit and healthy options for meals at work. I bought 4 different types of fruit, hard boiled eggs and mini bagels. Eating a good breakfast gives me great energy in the morning.
I also prepared my exercise outfits. I had packed my race outfit (details tomorrow) and I quickly found the other pieces so I could go ahead and exercise. I'm so glad I did this!
I've heard that moving can be a kick-start for a change. I'm planning on making this a new start as I achieve my goal. There's no going back: this is the year I will reach my health goals. Thanks for reading!
Goal for the week: Track 7 days with the Weight Watchers app. Exercise at least 5 times.
