We wrapped up Camp Listenbee this summer. We spent the last day writing down our academic goals and other goals. Every year, I've been teaching goal setting. I find it important to have an aim. One of my favorite quotes from Zig Ziglar is "if you aim for nothing, you will hit it every time." The kids set goals for other areas of life such as spiritual and financial goals. I was so inspired, I set some extra goals.
We celebrated another birthday in July. Celebrating this sweet girl is easy.
My husband went on a mission trip this summer. While he was away, we spend some time with family and we explored a different area of town. It was awesome to find Plaza Fiesta. We felt at home.
We got an A+ on meal planning. We went to the library and got a few cook books. We made a few recipes from the books we borrowed.
Swim team month came and went so fast. I was proud of the kids' accomplishments but even more excited about their desire to improve.
Other than church, I think the library was the place we visited the most. I've been bringing the kids since they were infants. What's not to love about a place full of books, resources and wonderful people?
