Weight Watchers: Scale

Wednesday, March 28, 2018

So, my scale broke. I have no idea how much I weigh, which for this week, is a good thing. We are moving homes so we have been packing pretty fiercely.
I used to think that my scale hated me when I started this blog. Today, every time I step in the scale, i tell myself: you need to have either a neutral to positive feeling about the number you are going to see.
This method has saved me a lot of heartache. Why neutral or positive? Because negative feelings always hurt me and pull me away from my goal. A positive reaction would sound like "great job! Let's keep doing what we need to do to reach our goal!" A neutral reaction sounds like "this number does not make or break me. I know what I need to do to reach my goal. What can I learn from the past week to improve my chances of seeing a lower number?"
Once we are finished moving homes I'll eventually buy a new scale. Thankfully, I have the Weight Watchers App and my accountability partner to keep me motivated.
By the way, she's doing amazing in her journey. I told her that EVERYONE that does accountability with me succeeds. I don't know what it is but it happens every time. I should enlarge the group, right?
I appreciate your prayers. This is the year I will reach my health goals!

Goal for the week: Track 4 days with the Weight Watchers app. Exercise at least 4 times.
Start Weight: 175 lbs
{Goal Weight:} 136 lbs
{{Current Weight}}: ? lbs
