MWLISS: Fear

Wednesday, June 26, 2019

We all face fears. We just don't talk about them enough.
People have the perception that some of us are fearless.
That's not true. We either keep it quiet or we manage it well.

I'm reading (and loving) Carly Fiorina's book Find your Way.
She talks in depth about fear in one of her chapters.
I appreciate her advice to identify your fear (extra points if you say it out loud to someone else), run towards it and conquer it.

I'm thinking about the health and fitness area of my life because it is my focus this year.
I can't be afraid to succeed. I need to identify my source of fear.
I ask myself sometimes, "what if I arrive in my normal BMI? What if training for a marathon is efficient because I faced my fears and followed the plan in front of me?"

The other side of fear is where my reward is.
And I will see it.
